Founder, creative director, and artist Kacey started True Chiefs from a desire to combine her extensive graphic design knowledge with her passion for screen printing, t-shirts, and most importantly her Native American heritage. Kacey’s love of her Indigenous culture and home state can be found in her personal designs and creations.

Meaning behind the name: TRUE CHIEFS ||  Because of Kacey’s great pride in her Native American heritage and culture, she knew without doubt a distinctive identity for her business, personal designs, and work would be essential. To do her part and continue to maintain a presence and future for her people. While reading a book about the history of the Caddo people a name fell into place. The name “True Chiefs” is the meaning behind the name of her Native American Caddo Tribe (shortened from Kadohadacho which means “true/real chiefs”).
